Let’s celebrate the Swiss National Day together!
The 1st of August, our Swiss National Day, is approaching! The Swiss Society of the Kansai cordially invites you and your guests to attend the celebration party at the Kobe Club. In order to avoid the summer heat the event will be held indoor in the Ballroom of the Kobe Club.
Our program:
17:30 Reception and Apéro — wine generously offered by the Embassy of Switzerland
18:00 Official Program
+ Opening address by Herbert Bucher President of the Swiss Society of the Kansai
+ Official speech by the Ambassador of Switzerland Dr. Andreas Baum
+ Recorded speech by the Swiss President Alain Berset, followed by the Swiss and Japanese National Anthems
+ Kanpai by Swiss Consul Dr. Felix Moesner, CEO of Swissnex in Japan
18:30 Buffet dinner prepared by the Chef of the Kobe Club with free-flowing drinks — wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee, and tea
+ Special entertainment performance by Samurai Artist Kamui
19:30 Tombola — Each participant gets a free tombola ticket at the entrance. This might be your lucky day
Please use public transportation if you plan to drink alcohol!
